Profile

Michael Ombogo builds Walterland’s geospatial products.

Michael built the Walterland Land Viewer and Satellite History Report. His work connects the firm’s mapping and remote-sensing capabilities with practical online tools for landowners, buyers and project teams.

The Land Viewer brings Kilifi County’s primary schools, health facilities, power infrastructure, roads, settlements and population data into one interactive atlas. Visitors can find a place, ask a nearby question, rank settlement clusters, measure school-to-health distances or compare mapped records across constituencies. Plain-language questions and editable filters work together.

The atlas shows map results, straight-line distances, counts and population estimates alongside their source details. Users can refine the area, ownership, facility type or threshold, share the view, save a Walterland-branded map image or export all matching records as CSV, GeoJSON and notes.

The Satellite History Report turns a parcel drawn on a map into a dated account of land-cover changes from satellite imagery. It gives landowners a report and reference number that Walterland can verify later.
